Natalie Kosnar is an Australian artist living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.

Whilst her work is predominantly painting, she has produced art works in a range of mediums including glass, video and mixed media installations. Throughout all of her work a common theme exists; observations of the people around her and the ways in which humans react and relate to each other. By combining her exploration of contemporary themes with strong traditional technique she is able to create aesthetically beautiful works which challenge the viewers' perception of the world we live in. The influence of Asian art is most evident in her watercolour paintings, however she feels lucky to be living in Asia so that this influence can become even greater as she develops her art further.

She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows throughout Australia with a number of works in private collections. In 2005, Natalie received a grant from the City of Melbourne Young Artists program to coordinate a project with a team of artists, producing a mixed media publication titled 'Chaology'. Natalie's formal education includes a Diploma of Visual Arts followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts via a scholarship at The Victorian College of the Arts. She also completed a Diploma of Education at Melbourne University and is currently teaching art & design at a school in Ho Chi Minh City.
